Light easterly winds from a slow moving high pressure system, slightly overcast skies and a quarter moon. A gentle high tide at noon and lot’s of clear water if you look for it. The weather has been warm so far and Gulf temperatures are still high. There are still a few snook on the oysters and quite a few red’s. It’s not a Bonanza, you have to work for it, but the conditions are good and the fish will bite. We fished south toward Lostman’s with Bob McCulloch on the foredeck sight shooting red’s and snook all day. Here he is with a red from Lostman’s River.
