Northeasterly winds finally losing a little velocity and clear water returning to the flats. Time to run south! We had a beautiful day today, sighting numerous big snook on the shoals. They were on the move and hungry, if you got the fly in the sweet spot you got hit. It wasn’t easy but there was a lot of excitement when you saw three or five ten pound snook cruising the flats in a gang. I’d show you the Big Fish Picture but Mike Lawson accidentally dropped our fish of the day overboard just as I pressed the shutter button. We’re going back for them in the morning.
