It’s windy, but the water is clear and the skies are bright. The offshore wind and low tide at midmorning are providing plenty of shallow water. Blair Walton and Bill Cameron haven’t caught the fly fishing bug yet but their fishing experiences in Michigan translated easily through the ultra-light spinning tackle we used for sight fishing reds today. We didn’t get as many shots as we’d hoped for but they made the most of every chance and caught several nice reds from the Islands out front.
