It’s windy. On the  outside it’s been too rough for fly fishing so weve been running around the backcountry to the south. There’s a few fish but in the wake of the weather it’s a little tough, still, if you can hang in there you’ll probably get some shots. Here’s one we got today from the Left Hand of Bitch Lake, that’s Captain Bill Blanton on the foredeck.

  1. Ah, the reds of Bitch Lake save the day again. Wish I had a Bitch Lake in my back yard. Nice fish guys.

  2. Hey John,
We’ve been dropping in on those reds, we got another one today. They are tailing over the weeds in really shallow water, only a few inches in places. it’s way in the Pretty Far Backcountry. Crystal clear, ultra stealth mode, you can only get one, because the moment you set the hook the fish spooks everything else in the whole cove.
